The School of Modern Agriculture is the branch school with the longest history in JXVTC. It has approximately 1200 full-time students studying in five specialties, namely the specialty of gardening technology, horticultural technology, animal husbandry & veterinary medicine, food safety & quality and environmental engineering technology. Among these specialties, the specialty of gardening technology is considered having superiority in Zhejiang Province. Currently, the school has 53 faculty members, among whom 14 are associate or full professors, 8 hold doctoral degrees, 42 are qualified in more than one area.
